Our iPads for Communication workshops provide guidance on communication apps and their features, how to select apps, and practical ideas for social interaction and skill development related to communication, switch access, language and literacy. Best of all, participants share with each other their ideas, opinions and experiences of using iPads for communication. Sessions are available for adults and teens, parents, or can be customised to your group.

For adults and teens with complex communication needs (little or no speech)

  • These groups are run every 2-4 months for adults and teens with complex communication needs (CCN) who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). One personal assistant or family member is free to attend (as a companion) if required.
