This popular workshop returns in 2017. It’s the must attend workshop for anyone with a child, client or student in their life who uses or plans to use PODD to communicate. Learn more about communicating with PODD, see case studies and have time to practice using PODD to improve your confidence and understanding.

Let’s Get More Words
This follow on workshop to “When the Words Aren’t There Yet” will build on what you learnt in the first workshop. Now that you have a communication system in place, we will help you to explore further ideas to expand your child, client or student’s exposure to AAC and strategies and tips to help you to stay motivated and using their book or device.

MAY 2017
Compass app: Program like a Pro
This workshop will cover all the programming essentials of the Compass app with the PODD pageset. From set up to adding buttons, this workshops will ensure that you get the best from your Compass app.

Alternative Access PODD Workshop
Gayle Porter, the developer of the PODD, will present this 1 day workshop. It will provide information and the opportunity to practice various methods of accessing the PODD for those who cannot point directly with their hands (direct access), such as eye-gaze, partner-assisted scanning and more.
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is only available to those who have attended a 2 Day Introductory PODD Workshop – please see workshops in March for details on our 2 Day workshop.
